Diadora is a brand making a come back. Associated with slightly shit trainers in the 90s and Roy Keane it entered the wilderness for a while. But it’s Italian heritage always gave it hope and ensured that it never quite dropped to the depths of Sports Direct. Over the last few years it has been making a steady comeback, particularly through an incredibly strong trainer game with the likes of the N9000 releases.
This week they are celebrating their heritage with the re-release of the beautiful Borg Elite, an instant cult-classic when it launched back in 1978.
Renowned for being as popular on-court as it was off throughout the 1980’s, the Borg Elite makes its long awaited come back this year. Made in Italy and constructed with a soft leather with a perforated toebox, the trainer is set-off by its distinctive branding to the side panels in either gold or silver. Sat atop a robust branded sole unit, the tennis shoe is finished with Diadora branding to the tongue and heel tab.
Released on Friday 26th of February – Available on ENDclothing
